Contacts for Official Records

Waller County Busted Mugshots is a private reference site, not a government office. It cannot confirm whether someone is in custody, arrange a release, post bond, or obtain an official booking record. Contact the government office that holds the record for those services. Call 911 for an emergency.

Where Waller County Records Are Held

Use the office that maintains the particular record. The Sheriff is the primary route for current county custody and Sheriff-held records. The County Clerk and District Clerk handle the court side after a filing. A city police department can be the custodian of its own incident report even when a person later appears in county custody.

Written-request instructions

The Sheriff’s records page says requests must be in writing and lists up to 10 business days under the Texas Public Information Act. It also asks for a clear description and identifiers such as a name, date, case number, incident type, location, and parties. The published crash-report fee does not establish a fee for a booking photo or arrest record, so ask the custodian for a current estimate.

For a city arrest, ask the arresting city agency which office has the incident file. Hempstead Police contact details are confirmed in the TCOLE directory, but its public website was unavailable during the research review and no current public records form was located. The Waller County roster can answer a current county-custody question, but it is not a substitute for the city’s original report or a court disposition.
